The Best Place By The Fire 
Hi Kari
Once in a rare while-yes, I get that feeling. More acute is aunt Betty, who we think lives in the basement. She gets the blame for many weird things that goes on in our 56-year old house, occationally with shouts, telling her to stop her machinations and unwelcome noises.

I enjoy reading micro stories like these. I follow some on Twitter, I find some on the blogs and I write some myself. Do you ever write based on word prompts?

Thank you. I haven’t quite mastered the art of brevity to the extent of writing tweet-sized stories, but maybe one day. And yes, I do often use writing prompts – I try to use the Three Word Wednesday prompt every week, and there are others I use occasionally.
